teen internship opportunity

Internship Accelerator for Teens

Launching students into the professional world with hands-on internships, industry mentorship, and real-world projects that build creativity, confidence, and career-ready skills.

From Classrooms to Careers

We think that building creativity is the most important type of work place experience that a student can have, and our friends at the World Economic Forum would likely agree.

You may have read somewhere that the purpose of school is not to get better at school (probably on our home page). Our internship accelerator is really where everything comes together, and students apply their creativity to projects rooted in the professional world.

“Keeping students penned in classrooms will impede career launch. While digital transformation has already put a premium on learning-by-doing, A.I. will make work experience mandatory for every learning journey.”

How it works:

  1. Students who complete the innovation certificate program are given the option to sign up for our internship accelerator. You must complete the innovation certificate program, but you can sign up for the internship accelerator as often as you’d like.

  2. Teen enrolls and payment is made.

  3. They are assigned a d.tech career coach.

  4. They are assigned a team.

  5. They are assigned a project and an industry mentor.

  6. The magic happens as students are surprised by the level of responsibility they are given and industry mentors are amazed by the skills the students bring to the project!

  • “The interns were fearless in asking questions and challenging the status quo. They're very intuitive and allowed their own curiosity to lead the work, often diving deeper than we would have expected from high school interns. They also come with a solid skillset as junior PMs [project managers] and designers.”
